Payment in full is required to secure your date.

50% Deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

Helmets On

Be it known that Under the Stump requires participants to wear helmets! This safety measure can impact your hairstyle. Rest assured that Gloria will be there to help with any hair fluffing and outfit touch ups.

Footwear

It is advisable that if the Shoe is the thing, to bring them in hand and we can pop them on for the special moment. Wearing comfortable hiking shoes or good sneakers is highly encouraged!

The Dress

It’s no secret that photos with an incredible gown amidst this Big Nature will be cherished for a lifetime. Like Princess Diana learned, some fabrics are not meant to be shoved into a carriage and expected to look their best. Gloria is an experienced wedding planner and will be there for you to ensure the best case result with any fashion-related supports. We just want you to be prepared! :)

The Weather

Newfoundland weather can be…dynamic! Unless there is extreme conditions, Gloria is happy to marry you in the rain, in the snow, with reasonable wind speeds and of course, on a glorious West Coast Sunny Day!

If extreme weather occurs on your wedding day, we will work with you to reschedule or to find an alternate location. Under the Stump DOES have a large workshop and a lovely gathering space in their loft that can serve as backup!

Private Ceremony Disclaimer

Your ceremony will be as private as nature allows! We may come across wildlife that we need to leave space for, and also, other outdoors enthusiasts may be on the land as well at times. We can take you to locations where there is less likely to be any ‘traffic’, but rest assured, backcountry traffic is, how do you say, not like sitting on the Gardiner. It will still be plenty private and magical!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations outside of 60 days are subject to a $50.00 Administration fee.

Cancellations within 60 days will have the 50% deposit withheld*.
